Modern Deck™ Boardwalk™ is 100% wood free, it will not rot, warp, twist, split and best of all is termite resistant. Unlike traditional WPC composite decking products Boardwalk™ is light weight and has a minimal amount of expansion and contraction requiring only 1mm spacing between butt joints. Face fixing is recommended with our stainless steel colour coded screws and with the flexible elastic rubber surface that bounces back once the screws are driven below the surface you will have a minimal visual appearance left from the screws.

The Core — Modern Deck™ Boardwalk™ has a hand-moulded structural core where polyurethane rigid foam is used to fill in the pores. A mix of natural minerals are bonded into a Polymer resin to create the most stable composite decking product on the market. To increase the strength of the board we have developed a unique technique and design where a continuous reinforcement structure of PP (Polypropylene) has been added to the core in the length of each board to provide extra stability, heat resistance and added strength.
The Capping — The decorative flexible elastic rubber capping on each board is protected by three UV resistant coating layers offering ultimate protection from impact marks, scratching and the UV resistance required to protect against the harsh Australian sun.
To increase the strength and stability of the capping, a continuous web of reinforced fibers has been moulded to the board, providing the highest level of engineered strength on the market.
Decking boards — Modern Deck™ Boardwalk™ is 200mm wide x 25mm thick and available in 2440mm and 3600mm lengths, with 6 different patterns in each size. It is recommended to purchase both sizes to incorporate into the build of your new deck, this will help create a more natural look with less repetition.
Fascia boards — are 150mm wide x 15mm thick and come in both 2440 and 3600mm lengths.
Nosing boards — are available in 200mm wide x 25mm thick planks and 100mm wide x 25mm thick planks, also in 2440mm long and 3600mm long lengths.

Here we have also selected a series of oak planks where they have been sanded down to get a flat surface allowing us to capture the natural swirls and pattern of this beautiful timber. Using 6 different patterns throughout the boards and each one with its own unique colour, you’re sure to be left with the most natural looking deck on the market.
